Foxdale

Every garden starts with a vision.

Our client first dreamed of a Mediterranean corner — full of warmth, texture, and colour, bringing a little holiday feeling into the garden. Later, the idea grew into something even more special: a herb garden, a front flowerbed renovation, and a fully automatic irrigation system to make maintenance easier and keep everything thriving.

Step by step, we brought each part to life — combining structure and creativity, carefully choosing plants that fit both the look and the local climate. The result is a space that feels natural, balanced, and inviting all year round.

We fulfilled this project with real pleasure — it’s always inspiring to see how a garden evolves through collaboration and trust.

We knew right away that an Olea europaea — the beautiful olive tree — had to be the focal point of this Mediterranean corner. Its timeless character and silvery leaves bring structure and elegance to the space.

To create a warm, bright atmosphere, we chose white shingle as the ground cover, reflecting light and enhancing the plants’ colours. Around the olive tree, we planted plenty of ornamental grasses, lavenders, and agapanthus, adding movement, texture, and soft summer fragrance.

The result is a calm and sunny corner that feels like a small piece of the Mediterranean — right here at home.

Before

The front garden didn’t feel welcoming enough at first, so in our new design, we wanted to give it more warmth and personality. We planted a red Acer as a striking focal point, adding rich colour and plenty of character to the flowerbed.

After

To create harmony between the spaces, we used Cupressus sempervirens ‘Pyramidalis’ — the elegant Italian cypress — to visually connect the front garden with the Mediterranean corner at the back. The result is a garden that feels more inviting, balanced, and full of life from every angle.
